We would like to introduce you to something new: GxdHood.com, pronounced “Godhood dot com.” GxdHood.com, also known as GxdHood Enterprise, represents a new expression of what might once have been understood simply as “Black & White”—or perhaps something beyond that familiar contrast.
In 2021, we discovered a new name, a new identity, and a new direction. We became GxdHood Enterprise, complete with a new logo and a vision of our own.
Let’s not beat around the bush.
GxdHood is the idea that human beings are destined to pursue an ideal purpose. Yet there is always an unknown—a mystery that remains beyond what we can completely understand. That mystery is represented in our name by the “x” in GxdHood, rather than the traditional “o.” The “x” speaks to your own understanding of the Most High and to the infinite possibilities that exist beyond what we can see.
Our spiritual ideology is expressed through our simple slogan: “Be, YourSelf.”
To us, it represents the inevitable journey toward becoming who you were meant to be.
You will find our symbol placed throughout everything we create. Every item is deliberately selected with you in mind. We believe that character is built upon a cornerstone, and that a strong foundation provides the framework through which self-expression can emerge.

GxdHood Enterprise was created in 2021 based in Sacramento, California. Head-quartered in Mountain View, California, GxdHood Enterprise was originally founded to spread spiritual ideology. GxdHood Enterprise has a distinctive vision: to bring together military-inspired apparel, urban street-wear, timeless black-and-white aesthetics, and the ever-evolving world of fashion. The brand was designed to challenge conventional ideas about style while creating a space where individuality and creativity could take center stage. What began as an idea has grown into a brand centered on individuality, creativity, confidence, and self-expression. GxdHood Enterprise represents the belief that fashion can be more than simply what we wear. It can communicate our identity, reflect our experiences, express our ambitions, and inspire us to become the people we aspire to be. At its heart, GxdHood Enterprise is a celebration of vision, community, and personal expression—a brand inspired by the people who believed in the possibility of something greater and helped turn an idea into a growing creative enterprise.
A Little Bit About The Founder!
Dorena Hood is an American musician, spoken-word poet, and entrepreneur, best known as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of GxdHood Enterprise, established in 2021 in Sacramento, California. With a background in Communication Studies, Hood pursued higher education at Sacramento City College and Sacramento State University, developing a foundation that complements her creative and entrepreneurial pursuits.
As an artist, Dorena Hood creates music and spoken-word poetry that brings together elements of soul, gangster rap, alternative rock, and jazz. Her work reflects a distinctive blend of musical genres and poetic expression, allowing her to explore creativity through both sound and language.
Beyond her work as a musician and poet, Hood is the driving force behind GxdHood Enterprise, where she combines her artistic vision with entrepreneurship and brand development. She continues to release new music and creative works through platforms such as SoundCloud, building an evolving body of work that represents her identity as an artist, communicator, and businesswoman. Dorena Hood is a former Google employee whose entrepreneurial journey was shaped by creativity, community, and the encouragement of those who believed in her vision.
The inspiration behind GxdHood Enterprise came from many sources, including the support of the Facebook community, the encouragement of Dorena’s younger sister, Angel Hood, a former San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleader, and the people who recognized the potential of her idea from the very beginning. Their encouragement became part of the foundation upon which the company was built.

GxdHood Enterprise began by connecting with residents and visitors throughout San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Vallejo, Oakland, Berkeley, and Long Beach. With deep roots in California, our vision has always extended far beyond one state or one community. Today, we see GxdHood Enterprise as a global-minded company with an open-door philosophy. We believe limitations should never define our possibilities. As a small but multifaceted organization, we remain committed to knowing our customers, listening to our community, and going the extra mile.
